It’s Monday again? Where did the weekend go?
It seems for many it was a busy weekend filled with weddings, birthdays, bachelorette parties and babies! The weather was beautiful for celebrating!
Maybe you’ve been celebrating a little too hard….
Here’s a smoothie to get you back on track and to start the week of on a healthy note!
The avocado and almond butter lend healthy fats to help your body absorb the fat soluble vitamins such as the vitamin E and K in the berries. Plus, it keeps you feeling full and energized all morning long!

Ingredients
- 2 cups almond or soy milk
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 heaping tablespoon almond butter
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 tablespoons hemp seeds chia or flax seeds work well too!
- 3 dates pitted
Instructions
- Blend and Enjoy 🙂
Notes
I also added a scoop of wheatgrass powder for a little chlorophyll kick 🙂 As always, feel free to add in a handful or two of fresh greens such as spinach or kale 🙂
